| Glacier Glide is the U.P.'s longest standing outdoor winter art exhibition. The show is held each year at Presque Isle Park. Youth art is exhibited inside of the log Pavilion. The public is admitted free and can snowshoe, cross-country ski or hike the trail in the park while viewing original work by artists and community members. The public vote for awards which are presented at the conclusion of the show. |  Click on image to enlarge |
ENTRY INFORMATION:
There is no entry fee. Entrants are responsible for set up and removal, but need not be present during the show. Adult works must be pre-registered prior to the show. Youth entries may be registered at the Pavilion on the day of the show,
All entries MUST be checked in at the Pavilion on the day of the event between 9:30-11:00 a.m.
 Click on image to enlarge | Artwork must be made by exhibitor, with no entries being made from kits or commercial reproduction, and not shown at previous Glacier Glide shows. Adult works will be displayed outdoors and must hold up to possible wind and snow conditions. Works in the adult division must be pre-registered. Artwork in the youth division will be displayed in the Pavilion, but it must be able to be displayed on a table, be free-standing, or lightweight enough to be attached to display boards. There is no nailing or taping to structure walls, and it is not possible to hang items from the ceiling. Youth entries may be registered when they are dropped off at the pavilion the morning of the event. |
| LSAA/Glacier Glide will not be responsible for works displayed and reserves the right to reject any work deemed inappropriate for family viewing. Images of works displayed may be used as visuals for future Glacier Glide promotions.
